WHATS NEW IN SHAREPOINT 2010 (Just to name a few)

Access Services
Edit, update, and create linked Microsoft Access 2010 databases that can be viewed and manipulated by using an Internet browser.

Authoring Tools
Authoring tools such as SharePoint Dashboard for authoring PerformancePoint content, Report Builder for reports authoring, and SharePoint Designer 2010 which is the tool that is used to modify and customize SharePoint webpages.

Business Connectivity Services
Business Connectivity Services provides Office connectivity to external sources of data.

Business Intelligence
The Microsoft Business Intelligence toolset includes many components such as data source integration (SQL Server Analysis Services; SAS and SharePoint lists), Integration tools (Business Connectivity Services; BCS, and SQL Server Integration Services; SSIS), and End-Users UI tools (Excel, Visio, and Access and their associated SharePoint services).

PerformancePoint Services
Provides flexible, easy-to-use tools for building dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

PowerPivot for SharePoint
PowerPivot gives users the power to create self-service BI solutions, facilitates sharing and collaboration on user-generated BI solutions.

Records Management
Manage records in an archive or in the same document repository as active documents.

Ribbon User Interface
The Ribbon interface is a toolbar that appears across the top of each page and displays many of the most commonly used tools, controls, and commands.
